Hello, I first went to the ballet in 1956, when the Bolshei Ballet visited the UK during the thaw in the Cold War in 1956. Since being in NZ, I have not missed any of your performances, as well as other companies. I wish to say that your performance of Swan Lake was the most memorable of all, and I thank you sincerely. I have heard so often that Russian Ballet companies are the best that mankind can produce, and on that I can agree. I apologize for no standing ovation in Wellington, but they seem not to do it over here.
