Hello, we watched the Swan Lake at Graz tonight. We found it very disappointing that we didnt get the chance to give an applause for Mrs. Ohannesyan, who danced the second part instead of Mrs. Kolesnikova. Mrs. Ohannesyan danced very good, as good as Mrs. Kolesnikova and deserved to be applauded at the end!! Many people in the audience I talked to think the same way and do not think that was right.Congratulations for Mrs. Ohannesyan for dancing Odette from many people in Graz! Greetings

I am writing to ask if I could photograph a dress rehearsal of \'Swan Lake\' at the Palace, Manchester in May?For the last few years I have been photographing the Northern Ballet School’s end of year ballets and more recently Giselle for the English Youth Ballet, in an attempt to gain an Associateship distinction with the Royal Photographic Society and to try to make a break into ballet photography.For me the skill is capturing the ballet in performance, not setting up shots, so that you get real moments. I learn the ballet beforehand and work quietly with my tripod centrally in the auditorium.You can see examples of my work on my website www.carolineholden.co.uk. WE are groupies from England. WE drive 100 miles each December to stay in Eastbourne for three days to watch these superb atristes..of the dance and of the orchestra. These three days make our Christmas treat every year..we are trying to decide whether we can come to Edinburgh or even Graz to see these trukly wonderful dancers.
