What a wonderful week we had in Norwich! All 8 performances on the stage of the magnificently refurbished Theater Royal were completely sold out. We have visited this theatre annually for the past 10 years and were amazed at the stupendous transformation. Spacious foyer, beautifully designed auditorium, excellent new dressing rooms.
It was the perfect setting for debut performances, in Nutcracker, for some of our new soloists.
On 5ht February Alla Bocharova dance a beautiful Clara and we look forward to her future appearances in leading roles. She will rehears Odette-Odile immediately after the company holiday.
Her partner was the elegant Vladimir Iznov whose debut was also impressive despite a short time to rehears the role.
On 7th February Oleg Harutkin danced the Nutcracker Prince, demonstrating his excellent technique and proving his full recovery after a serious injury at the beginning of the tour.
Dmitry Lisenko`s premier as the Prince on 9th February was absolutely charming and technically brilliant confirming his reputation as an amazing dancer.
We congratulate all these dancers on their first appearances in these new roles and wish them continuing success.
